McCabes Pharmacy, originally a family owned and operated business, was founded in 1981. The business has since grown from 32 pharmacies employing 436 colleagues to over 112 pharmacies and over 1400 employees with the rebranding of LloydsPharmacy to McCabes Pharmacy. The business is led by Sharon McCabe, as CEO, since 1999. McCabes is committed to the communities it serves and is dedicated to delivering best in class community pharmacy care and customer experience to the Irish public.

    A: No, your prescriptions and medication orders will not be affected. Everything will continue as usual, and you will receive the same high standard of care and service. However, if you prefer to order your prescriptions online, you should continue to use the Lloydspharmacy website or app until the 31st of January when we will move the online prescription orders to the new McCabes site and app.

    A: Yes, you can continue to upload new prescriptions or order repeat prescriptions through our DigiScript service on the current LloydsPharmacy website or app until the end of January. From the 1st of February, online prescription orders will transition to the McCabes website and new app.

    Please note that opening hours may vary during bank holidays and the Christmas season, so be sure to check the LloydsPharmacy website for updates. From 1st February all store opening hours and directions will be listed on Mccabes.com store locator.

    Until the 31st of January, you can continue using the LloydsPharmacy website and app to book appointments, order prescriptions online, and find store locator details.

    A: There will be no changes to this service until 30th November. If you place an order on the LloydsPharmacy website and the store has transitioned to McCabes Pharmacy by the time you collect, you can still pick up your order as usual. Simply go to the same location and provide your order details as you normally would.

    However, you will find a larger range of products available on the McCabes Pharmacy website, and a free Click and Collect service.
